~Pre-school / Nursery~
:: What are your school hours?
We are open Mondays to Fridays from 8.30am till 6.30pm with the Pre-school / Nursery program operating from 9.00am till 12.30pm daily and 9.00am-6.30pm for the full daycare program.
:: What is the minimum age required to attend your preschool / nursery program?
The minimum age required to attend our program is 12 months old and will the attending the Baby Program as there are actually four sub-categories in the Pre-school / Nursery program. For more information, click here.
:: What is the method used?
We utilizes a combination of various methods, focusing on developing your child's practical life skills as well as reading skills.
:: What is the main language of communication / interaction?
The main language of communication / interaction here at Words is english. However, as the curriculum includes other language classes, your child will also come into contact with other languages like Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin.
:: What is the teacher to student ratio (class sizes) ?
The teacher to student ration varies with the three different programs but all three are kept at the minimal to ensure ample individual attention is given. The maximum ratios are as follow:
Creche Program - 1 teacher : 6 students
Elementary Program - 1 teacher : 10 students
GRS Program - 1 teacher : 15 Students
:: Would there be any assessment for my child prior to admission?
Yes. However, this only applies to children who are enrolling in the Elementary and GRS Programs. The assessment would consist of some reading and fine motor skills, depending on the level or program that your child will be enrolling in.
:: Would my child have any homework?
No, there would be no homework to be taken home as the children will be completing their worksheets and exercises during school hours. Once a week, on Friday, your child will take home to you a folder containing their worksheets that they had done during that week and their teacher's reports that is to be returned to the school the following week.
:: Can we have a try out of your program before deciding?
Yes, your child can have a free one day trial of the Pre-school / Nursery Program, so as to assist you in making the decision as to send your child to Words or otherwise.

~Enrichment Courses~
:: What are your school hours?
We are open Mondays to Saturdays from 8.30am till 6.30pm. However, the times and schedules vary for different courses offered. It is advisable to contact us for further details and information regarding the respective times for the courses that you are interested in.
:: What is the teacher to student ratio (class sizes) ?
The teacher to student ratio varies for different courses but are all kept to minimal so as to increase the personal attention given to students.
:: Would there be any assessment for my child prior to admission?
Again, it depends on the course. It is best to contact us for further details.
:: Can we have a try out of your courses before deciding?
Yes, free trials are available for majority of the programs but not all.
